School Year 2025/2026
Welcome back to all the pupils and staff and a big welcome to the 13 new Junior Infants who have joined us this year. We said goodbye to 11 pupils from Sixth class in June and we wish them well in their secondary school education Funky Kids will be taking a break with us this year but will return next year again. Music Generation will commence in the school on Thursday 18th September 2025. Communion and Confirmation Dates First Communion will take place on Sunday 17th May in
Confirmation and Communion Ceremonies
The Confirmation ceremony will take place in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Skeoughvosteen on Sunday 24th May at 9:30am The students from 6th class will be confirmed on the day. First Holy Communion will take place on Sunday 17th May at 9:30am.
Swimming
The children from 3rd to 6th Class have start swimming lessons in Graigucullen Swimming pool This will continue for eight weeks ending on 19th June
Christmas Holidays
The school will close for Christmas Holidays on Friday 19th at 12:30pm returning on Monday 5th January, 2026. Wishing all the pupils, staff and parents of Skeoughvosteen NS a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful 2026.

Team Hope -Christmas Shoebox Appeal
The children in the school happily handed over a total of 66 shoeboxes filled with delights for children in Africa. This was a very generous collection from Skeoughvosteen NS for a very worthy cause.
