The Active School's Flag is a Department of Education initiative which recognises school that strive to achieve a physically active and educated school community by awarding them with an Active School Flag.

 

The staff and pupils here in Skeoughvosteen NS are currently working towards achieving our third Active School's Flag, our very first flag being awarded in 2019.

To promote our school's bid to attain our third Active Flag, the Active School's Committee 25/26 have organised a slogan competition. It aims to raise awareness and capture the essence of what an active school means to us here in Skeoughvosteen NS.

 

Our Active School's Committee also surveyed the school's pupils to ascertain the types of sports and clubs our pupils engage with. The outcomes of the survey 'What Club Are You In?' demonstrates that the children of Skeoughvosteen have a broad range of interests both inside and outside school.​​​​​​​​
