Ms. Murphy's Retirement

The school celebrated a huge milestone recently as we said goodbye to Catherine Murphy on her

retirement from the school on 27th October.

There was a celebration in her honour in the school on the day and she was presented with gifts from the children and staff. A tree was planted in the outdoor area.

Later that day a mass was celebrated in the church and the children sang in the choir and afterwards refreshments were served in the clubhouse by the parents association.

Ms Murphy will be sorely missed by both children and staff in Skeoughvosteen NS.

We wish her a long, happy and healthy retirement.
